Committee Volunteer Form

The Reflections Awards Program has students create theme-based artwork in dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography or visual arts. As the PTA Reflections Chair, you will be responsible to oversee the PTA Committee’s planning and implementation of the Reflections program and work with teachers to encourage students to participate. Specific tasks include distributing flyers and entry forms, making and displaying promotional posters, collecting entries, and judging the entries. The time frame for this committee is September-November.

Event takes place in February – 8th grade MMS girls and boys basketball players vs. the teachers. The chairperson duties are to plan event with the PTA committee and coordinate volunteers. The event is very well organized and the same format is used year after year.

The PTA works with a variety of organizations to earn money for the school. This committee will help support School Spirit Nights, local grocery store school programs, Box Tops for Education and Clothing to Cash Collections.

An 8th grade dance will be held in the spring. Volunteers are needed to : help plan the dance, sell tickets during the 8th grade lunch, donate food, drinks or prized for the dance, help set up for the dance, chaperone the dance, and help clean up immediately following the dance.

8th grade day is a celebration for our 8th grade students held on the last Wednesday of the school year. There are many different ways to volunteer for this event.

1. Planning for this event starts in the fall and we are looking for a few volunteers to help with the planning of this event.
2. Many event day volunteers are needed to help set-up, clean-up and to help throughout the day.
3. We will need refreshments and supplies donated for the event.
